Studio Ateme pieces are all unique and handmade with intent and respect. The handmade pieces and fabric in general are delicate and should be treated as such when handling.

All the objects bear unique marks of authenticity and these should be perceived as such. All imperfections are part of the soul of the piece and not a subject to claims. Colours may vary slightly from photos and on each screen. Please contact me if you have questions or need more info on your piece before or after buying.

JEWELLERY

Studio Ateme jewellery, being tiny soft objects, carry the same presence and embracing soul as the artworks. As well as adornment, they are companions. Pieces that you wear close to your body and bring with you into the world. A modern, soft talisman.

All pieces are handmade to order in the studio in Copenhagen. Due to the fine and lively nature of the materials of the tiny soft objects, each piece will carry it’s own unique personality. This is an intentional and precious feature of the pieces; I get to shape each piece for each of you.

The soft jewellery are limited pieces as the fabrics I use are all sourced from deadstock, vintage or salvaged fabric from other projects. Once the fabrics are used up, that exact piece will no longer be available. I might choose to launch a new version of the piece in a different material later.

JEWELLERY CARE

The jewellery are created of carefully selected fabrics for this specific object, filled with the natural fiber kapok, known for its anti bacterial and allergy friendly features, and they are finished with 925 sterling silver and natural stone beads.

As with all objects and clothing made from fabric, they are sensitive to moisture and dirt. Please avoid contact with sharp or pointy objects. Please protect them while worn but also when stored. I recommend that you store them in a dry and dark container, e.g. the little bag they came to you in. Or if you have a beautiful jewellery box where you store your most precious pieces, that would be perfect too, just give your soft jewellery its own space.

I treat all pieces with the allergy and nature friendly Textile Protector from Kinfill in order to make them more resistant to moisture and dirt. Please let me know in the comments when you place your order if you do not wish this treatment.

The sterling silver will react to the air and moisture over time. I recommend that you buy a jewellery polishing cloth to gently polish the silver parts from time to time.

SHIPPING

I only ship within Denmark at the moment. Please reach out if you’re interested in having something sent to the EU or internationally.

Shipping time is estimated. For artworks, please note that I’ll need up to 7 days to prepare your piece and send it to you. For jewellery, I will need 14 days to carefully create your piece. Let me know if you need a piece faster and I’ll see what I can do to accommodate faster delivery time - camilla@studioateme.dk.

Payment is possible with credit card, Apple Pay and PayPal. Once you place your order and it has been processed, you will receive a confirmation e-mail and your invoice. Money will be deducted from your account once the item is shipped.

RETURNS AND EXCHANGE

You have the right of withdrawal within 14 business days of purchase. Please press here to cancel your purchase. Items are also subject to a 24 month warranty. But please note that all my items are handmade, and only clear flaws and not damage caused by mistreatment will be refunded.

Refund will be placed on the account that was used to purchase the item. Refunds will be released once I have received and checked the piece.

Exchanges are treated as returns, meaning you’ll have to return the item and place a new order. The refund will be placed on the account that was used to purchase the item. Please note that it will take a few days until the amount is returned to your account.

Return shipping costs are at buyers own expense and buyer is responsible for the safe return of the object.

CLAIMS

If you find an item damaged, please contact me on info@studioateme.dk within 24 hours of receipt, with order number, description and photos of the issue.

You have a 24 month warranty on your purchase, but please note that defects caused by improper use or incautious handling of the objects will not be considered claims.

PRIVACY POLICY AND COOKIES

When you purchase an item or browse on this website, we collect personal information regarding shipping and billing to be able to fulfill your order and to answer any questions you might submit in the contact form. We share this information with Squarespace, our website hosting provider, so that they can provide shipping services to us, and the shipping provider to be able to send the piece to you. You can see the shipping provider name at checkout.

We also provide your contact info to ProtonMail, our e-mail provider in order to be able to respond to your requests.

When you make a purchase on our site, we store your basic information in accordance with the Danish GDPR laws.

If you wish, we can edit or delete all info we have on you from transactions, please send an e-mail to info@studioateme.dk.
